Résumé :

Depuis le 1^er juillet 2004, le décret d’application de la directive européenne 2003/54/CE du 26/06/03 fait obligation aux fournisseurs d’électricité, d’indiquer à tous leurs clients la répartition entre les différentes sources d'énergie utilisées pour fournir l'électricité et le contenu en CO2 et en déchets radioactifs du kilowattheure fourni.

Le décret du 11 mars 2021 a imposé un changement de la méthode de calcul du mix fournisseur, désormais basée exclusivement sur le mix résiduel France publié par Powernext et les Garanties d’origine utilisées par EDF.
